An ancient legend from Patagonia

First the Play

This ancient tale of living in harmony with nature and choosing peace over aggression will touch the hearts of children and adults alike.  Most appropriate for children ages 2-9.

Then the “Play”

After the play, each child is invited to play with the performers - to crawl, roll and tumble around in a safe, non-competitive way.

The Gentle People is presented as part of Fertile Ground 2010, a Portland-wide festival focused on new work in the Arts. It will feature up to 30 world premiere projects, staged readings and a myriad of other arts events from the Portland creative community.
