Play after Play
story · play · connection
Supporting busy families with young children who want to feel connected and enjoy their life together.

Feeling connected and enjoying being together as a family is important to you. But your family life can feel busy and overwhelming. In the constant juggling act of meeting the needs of everyone in the family, it’s hard to find the time to slow down and enjoy simply being together.

You’ve probably tried different kinds of family events, and sometimes they’ve left you feeling more exhausted than replenished. Some events are too overwhelming or scary for your young children.  Some events designed for young children seem dumbed down and aren’t interesting for parents. What you really need is a family event that brings you a genuine feeling of togetherness, and that everyone enjoys equally.

Play after Play invites you to enjoy together an embodied wisdom tale, brought to life through movement, music and engaging storytelling. After the story performance, the whole family is invited to play - to crawl, roll, tumble and cuddle -  to be reminded of how good it feels to play safely together in community.

Play after Play was created in 2003 by Melanya Helene and Marc Otto to support families in attuning to one another.  In our busy and speedy society, we provide a place for simple connection.  This kind of attunement is a fundamental need we all have, especially young children.

Melanya and Marc bring together their love of story performance, their deep practice of attunement through play, and their ongoing studies in Interpersonal Neurobiology in the truly unique experience of Play after Play.

Please join us for this magical experience.
